Almost three years after the trial judge's decision
setting
aside only one aspect of the jury's damages verdict in a
class
action and instituting a claims procedure for determining
those
damages on an individual basis, a second judge vacated
another
aspect of the jury's damages verdict and expanded the
nature of
claims procedure. We reverse because she did so
without
applying the well-established standards for departing from
the
"law of the case" and
granting a new trial. 04-02-12
